This conference is organized jointly by the “Research Center for Security, Crisis Management & Conflicts Prevention” & iBusiness Company in collaboration with the “Carol I National Defense University – the Security and Defense Faculty”.
The crucial importance of the cyber security in our political, economical and social lives is already well known. The recent events, the outnumbered cyber attacks, the cyber terrorism (as it is called by almost all nations), the unseen war which is already a major threat and a significant vulnerability for all of us in the context of the global economy we live in, and the new technologies (cloud, vitualization, mobility, big data, social networking aso), are all (and may be many others), strong arguments to organize this event in Bucharest on these issues in the context of the National Defense Strategy.
At all levels the National Security Strategy is a core issue. From the public sector (the central and the local administrations units), to the Governmental bodies, the Parliament, the Defense and Intelligence organizations (ministries, universities, aso), various economical verticals (utilities, manufacturing, telco, transportation and logisitic, energy, health etc) to the private sector, all these entities mean huge IT&C infrastructures, applications, data protection, disaster recovery and data security policies and many others, all of these both in the national and the international volatile context.
The conference will focus equally on the Romanian security “landscape” seen from all points of view mentioned above, of the perspectives and on the strategies to be put in place, but also on the important players in the field (from the private sector included). As you can see from our draft agenda attached to this invitation, we shall host key note speakers (Romanians and foreign experts), round tables and panel discussions – with the most important representatives both from the defense and intelligence sectors but also from European bodies, professional associations and data security specialists) and presentations held by the most important private companies in the data security area. We shall also focus on the need for a Romanian New Security Strategy, in an integrated approach, which will be one of the most important focus of this very special conference as it will be for the first time when such an important document will be debated.
This event will address the decision people and IT representatives from the defense and intelligence areas, the IT and CIOs managers from the public and big private companies, the IT&Cpolicies makers from the Governmental bodies, the Parliament representatives.
Important: Participarea este gratuită doar pentru participanții din sistemul de apărare și de siguranță națională (inclusiv universități din același domeniu) si cu plata pentru reprezentanti ai mediului privat.
